Brave Or Brilliant? SoJo Spa's Rooftop Pool Is Hot Spot On Cold Day

Subzero temps aren't stopping people from a relaxing day at Edgewater's SoJo Spa Club -- and they have the pictures to prove it.

Sojo's infinity pool was nice and warm on a 15 degree day in Edgewater.

Dozens of guests at the River Road hotel and spa enjoyed its many heated pools, saunas and various relaxation zones -- including its rooftop infinity pool (which touts a spectacular view of the New York City skyline).

It was cold out -- but apparently it was worth it.

"Had to wrap towels around our heads so our ears wouldn’t fall off," Instagram user Alexis Krak said.

Still, she said, the water was warm.

Before last weekend's anticipated snow storm, SoJo encouraged Facebook users to spend the coldest days taking advantage of its many amenities.

We won't let anything keep you from enjoying your #sojospaday - even a snow storm!❄️ Take a dip in our heated pools and enjoy the crisp, cool air as your body relaxes into the warm bubbles.

Lia Peralta posted a photo of herself in the rooftop pool (above). She said: "Contemplating why I decided to go here when the temperature is in the single digits. #spaday #frozenhairdontcare"

The River Road spa has become a local stay-cation hotspot, gaining popularity on Instagram.

Admission is $50 on weekdays and $65 on weekends.
